During last night and today early morning rain accompained by gusty winds lashed many parts of kashmir,upper punjab and islamabad.Mostly light to moderate rain occured in these areas,

Whats Going On In Arabian Sea !!!

A well marked Low pressure in arabian sea will change to depression and finally a cyclone on monday/tuesday.
Initially chances are gud that it will cause rains in oman,yemen, sindh, and gujrata india.
But where cyclone will landfall ??
what will be intensity of rains in sindh ??
will it hit karachi ??

Will it remain severe category cyclone if it hits sindh coast?
Answer to all these questions is still difficult task as parameters are changing every 3 hours.
So a detailed note will be issued on monday when system will enter into peak intensity.
But rain are sure for karachi,hyderabad,thatta,badin,thar,mithi, mirpurkhas after 28 october.
Details will b issued timely.Fishermen are advised to be careful and not to go in deep sea atleast during next 10 days.

Scattered rains and thunderstorm observed at many places of upper pakistan last night and today early morning.More rain chances in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Gujranwala, peshawar, kohat, hazara divisions, kashmir and GB in next few hours.
Clearing will start in most of areas from late night.

Low in arabian sea seems to converting in depression by friday night.May follow Northern path initially and curving toward northwest/west after 48 hours.Still things under observation to confirm its track.

Weak intensity WD will start effecting northern parts of pakistan from thursday afternoon.Result can be light rains with thunder lightning and fast winds in GB,upper kpk, North punjab and kashmir.

Islamabad will be cloudy and light rainy on friday.
Karachi will remain dry and windy.
Lahore can see passing clouds and dry winds on friday.
Quetta cloudy with drizzles on thursday and friday.
Peshawar with chance of Thunderstorm on thursday night and friday.

Light snowfall expected in GB and other hilly areas of kashmir.

Weak WD trough effecting western and northern parts of country since morning.Drizzle and light rain expected at scattered areas over GB,Kashmir,Islamabad,Peshawar,Quetta,Rawalpindi,Mardan, Hazara and malakand divisions tonight and tomorrow.
WD with moderate intensity approaching to Pakistan around 23/24 october which can cause wdiespread scattered raisn over western half and upper parts of country during last few days of october followed by more drop in temperature.
No significant chances of rain for sindh in next 3-5 days including karachi city.

WD currently present over Northern Iran,Iraq and Turkey is extending its trough to Saudi Arabia.We expect this one will be widespread which can cause rains to plains of Pak and north India as well.

WD expected to start effecting north parts of pakistan from 18/19th october.But will remain confined to north till 23rd and till that no significant chances of rain in Islamabad and downward plains.

Upper punjab,kashmir,upper kpk,islamabad and GB receiving light to moderate rains since morning with light snowfall over hills of northern areas.
Rain bands will leave central pakistan by today evening while clouding and light rain chances will remain there for Lahore,Gujranwala,Gujrat,Islamabad,Hazara,kashmir and GB till wednesday afternoon.
Due to rain and cool winds temp of region has gone below 20C.

Winters Arrive In Pakistan !!

As the WD (O-2) moves into northern and central parts of country,Light to moderate rains reported across a widespread region.Rain to continue till next 12-16 Hours in northern and northeastern parts of country with significant drop in temperature in coming days and nights.
3-5C drop in upper parts temperature while 2-3C for lower parts like sindh and balochistan from wednesday as dry and cool air will prevail across the country.
