Fog which started last weekend in most of plains of Punjab, Upper sindh and south KPK has made days to stay extra cool with partly sunny periods or no sun at all at different areas.
Today also thick cover of fog blanketed most of plain areas of Punjab including Islamabad, resulting in considerably below normal maximum temperature.

On the other side Karachi saw a surprise and unexpected rainfall last night in scattered parts of city and so does some nearby areas of lower sindh.

Chief amount of rainfalls are PAF Base Faisal 4.0mm, Landhi 3.5mm, MOS 3.1mm, North Karachi, Karachi Airport 1.2mm, and Saddar 1.0mm. Traces of rainfalls reported from Masrror and Gulshan-e-Hadeed.

First Good Rainfall for upper Pakistan !!

A western disturbance is affecting upper parts of the country and as a result scattered light to moderate
with isolated heavy rainfall occurred in upper / western punjab , upper kpk, kashmir and
Islamabad. Light rainfall was also reported over northern hills.

Weather next 24 hrs:
More rain (with snowfall over the hills) is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara,
Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Foggy conditions are likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours.

light rain around 9 AM. Steady light to moderate rainfall continued till 4 PM accumulating
about 10 times higher than forecasted!
